I'm gonna have to go for the bare minimum and say SURVIVE. I am having trouble with that lately.

Take over the world by graduation? Suuuure... you do realize we only have a little over a year left, right?
Annnnnd the concert. We should plan that. It would be most triumphant.

lolz
Nice signature thingy. :)
PSH! Lots of people accomplish things at incredible ages (like 16 or 17), so, can't we? We'll beat them all! Mwahahaha!
:P
Yeah...we should. :)
I like how it's only you (Julia), Melanie, and I in this thread. :)

Well I don't know about you, but hearing about people who do incredible things at a young age just tends to make me feel like a loser. Also, I would see a concert with you anytime. (Well, as long as it's after AP Tests are over. That'll be a relief.) I'm sure the rest of the club would too. You should decide who you would like to see so we can track down a good concert.

Hah! I don't care much about people doing things at an incredible age. It really doesn't matter much to me. It's all just...FORTUITOUS (vocab. word >.<). I mean, why compare yourself to others?
Concerts...I get to pick?
Hmm...I don't know about any concerts going on...We should just go randomly or something. :P I mean...I had no clue who Mat Kearney is, and I went to one of his mixers.
I guess before I graduate, it'd be nice to just be accepted into a college (you get accepted first, right?), but that can't be helped until Senor year. I would like to get some grants/scholarships before I graduate too...

Melanie, it looks like our mission must be to get you to a concert too! You and Brenda should scheme about who you want to see. Idk what kind of music you guys like. Also, Brenda, does the Mat Kearney thing not count as a concert?

I don't think so...it was a mixer. Not like I know what a mixer is, but, in my opinion, it was more just sitting there and watching the person sing/perform whatever songs and then getting to talk to and take pictures with them later. So, it wasn't like what I believe a concert to be (really LOUD music, standing around, screaming, dancing, etc.).

it was more just sitting there and watching the person sing/perform whatever songs and then getting to talk to and take pictures with them later. That sounds exactly like a concert to me. Although perhaps we should figure out just what a mixer is before jumping to conclusions.

But...isn't a concert more of an upbeat LOUD kinda of thing? Where there's lots of random people? And...mosh (sp? it looks funny...) pits? And aren't they held in a large arena or something? Not a restaurant? And aren't they not DJed/hosted or whatever by a radio station?
Maybe you should tell me what a concert is first? I have a somewhat "stereotypical" imagination here...

Well, do you want to go to a concert like that? Because we could. But it doesn't have to be loud and crowded and in an arena to be a concert. Actually most of the concerts I've been to have been in small venues. So I think your "mixer" probably counts, but we could let it slide and go to see a bigger concert if you want.
