Poem#2
Love is a whisper, an insistent thrumming that swells to sweet music that haunts her shell pink ear, a soft caress a look, Eyes that pierce and hold.
Love drifts, a soft brush of longing, Color in brilliant strokes entwined in satin trussed in creamy pearls, a fragile sweep a delicate neck.
Love descends , a misty cloud of fragrant skin, of petals across the path The trembling of a yielding mouth.
Love hides the world. that face of my pounding heart caught in honey tenderness The sun that glances off, in a flash, there and gone.
The golden bird in a gilded cage, awaiting the croon of its keeper. a flutter of feathers, an endless sigh, Flying with nowhere to go.

Ahhh Kelly I love you! Your poems make me a little melancholy... but they're awesome! (Remember the difference between woman and women, though. )

Juliatastico: You may have lost your sanity but it's not as bad as what Mimi had done to Gurleen and me! Now we're hormone-craze teenager girls going around the badminton team molesting innocent victims. First was Susan.....then it was Brenda.....our next victim is Kelly. And to say, we were once innocent.

Hah, I dunno about that. I am pretty crazy. Although I am not a molester. I guess I am a molestee(?), though, also thanks to Mimi.
P.S. I know I've told you this, Kelly, but you're pretty much a genius.

Poem #3
The sun emblazoned in the sky We all fall down Steps crossing gray streaked pavement square
A slice, Winter's chill The lark song calls
We all fall down. To the earth of green roots, apple cheek kisses
A moment in a watered globe Of shattered glass and upending snow, We all fall down.
And two o'clock the hour strikes To retreat into utter stillness, That blessed wavering Of a heart beat's time
We all fall down. The dry creak of a swinging hinge,
Gone The hopes of tomorrow. Dispelled in a breathy puff
Curling plumes of smoky vapor Into that world Wrought of silver and gold.

I like how it's like Kelly just ignores everything we say/type and just continues on with her quest of posting poems. :)
Oh well. At least it's easier to *Exalt* her now. *smile*

Crazy. I'm not even sure what that one was about, but it sounds deep. Can I call you an artiste now, Kelly?

I think I may be reading them wrong. (I'm not the English major here..) But after reading your poems, I feel like nuts. Like in a "this poem is so deep that your life is now worthless and you deserve to dig a hole and die in it .. hah" feeling.

Kelly posts a lot now...but her karma is still ahead of her. :P
Waiting on Kelly to post the lovely answers to "Do you know your HH?" still. :P Sure is taking a while. I really want to know what (Question #5) "The most awesome club on the BHS campus is." :P I wonder if it's:
a. Helping Humanity Club b. HH Club c. HHC or d. Helping Humanity.
Man. This question just bugs me. :P
Number 4 too. "We raised ____ to build a school in ____" Wonder where we built a school...it must've been San Jose or New Orleans, right? 'Cuz who cares about them kids in Kenya or them kids in Nepal. :P
lolz...sarcasm...

Poem #4
I walked today, So many steps, A drop of color, A splash of day.
The blue so brilliant, An azure breath and wished that I could stay.
So many waving, Winks of color, Across the field, Where the flowers sway.
And clear, the unbroken pool, Silver gray.
Droplets of crystal, The reflections of a moment, Spill and break, I walked today.

That one might be my favorite so far. I like the rhythm (meter?) of it. You're pretty brave to post your poems here. I've written some poems but I would never be able to let anyone read them.
