So...anyone know what we're supposed to do for that JR. Project Interview that's due on Tuesday?
Does it have to be all typed up or something? I assume she's going to check it, right?

I thought she said something about adding it to the annotated bibliography? I could be wrong, though. It wouldn't be the first time I neglected to write down/remember about an assignment she told us about. *cough*moviecircle*cough*

Does anyone know what the guidelines for the interview are? Like, is there a certain number of questions we need to have? And what do we need to ask about? (I can't find my paper.)

So yeah, apparently we do have to add it to our annotated bibliography -_- which is poop
and just questions like "What kind of college classes do we have to take?"; "Does this job require a post-graduate education?"; "What behavioral traits are needed to succeed in this career field?"...etc. ....along those lines

Okay, so...I have to go randomly do my interview now, 'cuz I'm a cool procrastinator like that. :P Actually...it's 'cuz in truth, she assigned it on that one other(?) day that we left early for another badminton game. :P
So, just got to type up some random questions, eh? Okay.
So, the packet with our project "explained," doesn't really say much about the interview (i.e. no question amount, no length, no specifics), but the "sample interview and research questions" have 15 questions, if that helps. The example questions are as follows:
- Does the job require a college education?
- What type of classes would one need to take?
- What, if any, post-graduate education does this career require?
- What is the average cost of education and/or training for this career?
- What testing or certification is required?
- What personality traits are helpful in this career?
- Is it easy or difficult to be hired in this field?
- What is the career path like? (starting level to advanced)
- What duties does this career entail?
- What is a typical day?
- How many hours a week are typical?
- What is an average salary? How does it increase?
- What emotional benefits come with this career?
- What drawbacks are there to this career?
- Is this a lasting career, or will you need to change careers later in life to advance?
Yup...useful questions... :P
It says that the assignment is an "annotated bibliography of interview, including questions," so I guess we're just turning in the questions with the answers/personal notes?

Oh okay, so... I guess it's not really important to ask those questions. I wrote some of my own anyway. Thanks guys!
Yeah, I would just do the same thing as with the other entries in the bibliography. Summarize, assess, blah blah blah.

We don't have to re-print the whole annotated bibliography, do we? Just the portion on the interview, right? 'Cuz that's a whole waste of paper to have to re-print the whole thing. :P
So...do I have to re-type my whole interview? Or can it just be a lovely piece of paper with typed questions and pencil written notes/answers?

Umm...I'm just gonna reuse this thread a couple more times...
So...the essay for The Awakening...we underline The Awakening, right? 'Cuz it's a novel and all that...and the reason The Awakening is italicized in the prompt/info. thingy that Ms. Burnside posted is just, because, right?
Sorry. Kinda confused now 'cuz she italicized it, but we're supposed to underline it, right? Although...technically, we could either italicize it OR underline it (italicizing would mean we're not sure what to do, and underlining would mean it's a novel), right?
Yeah...I'll probably underline it until further notice... :P
I'm on the 2nd paragraph!!! (Although...overall...it's kinda sucky right now...My intro. needs work... :P)

Don't overanalyze, Brenda! Italics = underlining. They mean the same thing, so you can use either.

Really?
I always thought italicizing was for if you didn't know whether to use "quotations" or to underline the title. I also thought that you put "quotes" around the title of a poem or short story or something short, and you underline the titles of long things like books (actually...I think underling is just for books/novels...). At least...that's what I learned...
I know I'm totally not going to be awake to read the reply if anyone replies, but...for tomorrow...STAR testing...do we go to our 2nd period classes first thing in the morning? So...Mimi and I would go to Spanish 3/4? And, most of you guys would go to AP Bio?
